Thank you to all the parents who gave up their  Saturday morning to help with work day over the weekend. Your help is much appreciated. Also, just a reminder about water bottles: it does get quite warm on the playground and while we do have a water jug and cups, we would like to conserve paper cups which can easily get dirty and blow away, etc.  Please, on warm sunny days especially, send your child in with a water bottle marked with their name. These bottles will go home each day to be washed.

If your child has a summer birthday, please keep reading... I have been reminded (by the children) that there are a number of summer birthdays that remain uncelebrated. The end of the year is approaching quickly and I want to extend the opportunity to all those with summer birthdays to celebrate a little early.  So, if your child has a summer birthday and would like to celebrate it here at school, they are quite welcome to do so. If you have a day in mind, please give me a days notice, just so that all summer birthdays don't show up with birthday treats on the same day.
